Editorial policy
For each fact on this site, we follow these rules.
The rules we use
- We get provider details from the NPPES public register. We leave out claims made in provider marketing.
- We draw on the statute, the state agency or the insurer's own policy document for Medicaid rules and rates, and for insurance policies. Each source is linked where it appears.
- A fact stays out unless we find an official source, since guessing isn't our approach.
- We don't write reviews of providers, don't say that one is better than another and don't publish testimonials.
- We don't give medical advice here. Your child's doctor and the plan you have decide which care is right.
